A year ago we were hired to conduct a legal due diligence project in one of the largest auto parts distributors in the country. We reviewed all of customer service procedures, working out on new contracts, we reviewed general supply conditions, conducted trainings and created a legal compliance code in order to involve all employees in the “new policy”. In one year, there was a 80% reduction in the number of complaints and lawsuits against the company. The amount of product returns was also significantly reduced, which certainly impacted positively on the company’s numbers.
